Understanding Utilities in Alberta - UCA Power Hour [Webinar]

Free presentation about Alberta’s Natural Gas and Electricity markets. Learn about the free services and resources offered by the UCA, including information about your utility options, tips to reduce your bill, what to look for before signing a utility contract, how to contact our mediation team for free advice and support in solving issues with your utility provider, and so much more.

[Caregiver Support Program] Respite for ALL

SE Health

Through this pilot program, caregivers who work at least 30 hours per week and provide unpaid care to a loved one can access 10 hours of free home-based respite support. In addition, Greenshield is offering 5 hours of free, confidential virtual counselling and a one-year complimentary subscription to Digital Cognitive Behavior Therapy.

CORE Elder Abuse group

This session will highlight provincial resources, programs, and supports available in Alberta when working to respond to elder abuse.

Groups

Groups are where CORE participants can share information and stories, ask questions, learn, and collaborate. Open discussion groups can be accessed by any member of CORE; closed groups are available by invitation only. Groups are looking for voices from across the province and country to connect, strengthen the sector, and amplify diverse community voices, strengths, needs, and challenges for collective action!

Immigrant Senior Sector Connections group- If you serve immigrant older adults, we are looking for your voice as a general member, occasional volunteer, or even a group (co)lead!

Intergenerational CoP group - is now doing work on a NATIONAL level! If you do intergeneration work come join us!

Healthy Aging CORE Alberta (Collaborative Online Resources and Education) is a free knowledge-sharing and learning platform designed to connect and strengthen the sector while amplifying the issues and needs of Older Albertans. CORE Alberta does this by providing a digital space for CBSS organizations and allies to share knowledge, host learning opportunities, and collaborate with others on common issues or aligned priorities.
