[Report] 2026 Regional Gathering Reports
In 2026, Healthy Aging Alberta held 11 Regional Gatherings across the province to bring community together and talk about key issues.
These events have been based around connection, learning, and collaboration. It has been energizing to see people sharing ideas, learning from one another, and exploring what healthy aging can look like when we focus on strengths, relationships, and community‑driven approaches. We’ve attached one‑page summaries for each event emphasizing key stats, highlights, and takeaways from the gathering—feel free to download and share this information with colleagues or partners. The Regional Community Developer team is here to support you beyond Regional Gathering season. If you’d like to explore strategic planning, the Healthy Aging Framework (HAF), asset mapping, or Legacy Lab co- facilitation, we’d be happy to connect and talk about what might be most helpful for your community or organization.
