Driving is a complex task involving the coordination of our senses, motor functions, and cognitive functions. As we age, some of the skills and functions needed to drive safely can decline. Protecting and addressing concerns related to vision and hearing, participating in driver training, and incorporating smart technologies can support safer driving in older adults.
