CORE Alberta News - February 3, 2023

Thank you for being a part of the CORE Alberta community!

Already a month into 2023 and we know you are all just as busy as ever! As we enter Black History Month, this is a critical time to engage in open dialogue with other partners around systems change and look deeper at internal Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practices within organizations. The federal theme for 2023 is "Ours to Tell" as we all actively commit to listening to Black voices and communities to share their histories, stories, struggles, and successes while we build a culture of learning, and empower marginalized older adults. Healthy Aging Alberta encourages you to look deeper into your daily operations to see how you can support the lives of BIPOC older adults across our province. By working together, we can ensure older Albertans have the support they need for equitable and inclusive aging.
