Upstream approaches focus on preventing problems before they happen and enhancing overall well-being. This webinar will explore issues related to the implementation of upstream initiatives. The featured speaker, Dr. Tanya Halsall, Scientist at the University of Ottawa Institute of Mental Health Research, leads research focused on creating healthy contexts for young people. The session will begin by examining the continuum of interventions that span upstream and downstream approaches, introduce the concept of "lifestyle drift" and review mechanisms of influence.
