Nurturing Peace in Times of Change
Please join us at 9:15 PST; 11:15 CST; 12:15 EST for a brief optional introduction about the ICS Learning Series and webinar logistics. The opening and knowledge sharing will begin at 9:30 PST, 11:30 CST and 12:30 EST. We will have approximately 2 hours with the panelists starting at 12:30 EST.
Weaving Indigenous Wisdom Traditions is a four-part webinar series featuring nationally recognized Indigenous Knowledge Carriers and Elders sharing insights into the wisdom needed to thrive in this era of disruption and environmental change. Please join us for the fourth and final webinar in this series, Nurturing Peaceful Relations in Times of Change, where Grandparents who have already participated in the series will gather together again in circle to share wisdom that the Ancestors have left for us and offer further guidance for how we nurture peaceful relations in these times of change. In the spirit of witnessing and as a way to honour and uplift the importance of intergenerational connections and knowledge sharing, Indigenous youth will be invited to share their reflections on what they have heard from the Grandparents at the end of the webinar. While the Weaving Indigenous Wisdom Traditions series is focused on the spiritual and collective needs of Indigenous relatives, non-Indigenous people are also invited to join the webinar as listeners and witnesses. Listening is a key component of traditional Indigenous teaching practices and an essential aspect of learning how to be a good ally and relative.
Participation in data collection is optional but highly beneficial, as it helps us improve our future planning and development of webinars, ensuring they better meet the needs and interests of our audience.
