Introduction to the Seniors Service Provider Resource Guide

Join the Community Programs team from the Ministry of Seniors, Community and Social Services as we host a virtual training session to introduce and orient individuals working for community-based seniors serving organizations to the Seniors Service Provider Resource Guide.

The digital guide contains information about Seniors Financial Assistance programs offered by the province including Alberta Seniors Benefits, Supplementary Accommodation Benefit, Special Needs Assistance for Seniors, Seniors Home Adaptation and Repair Program, Seniors Property Tax Deferral Program, etc. During this session, attendees will be introduced to the HealthyAging CORE Alberta website, learn how to use the resource guide in their work assisting seniors and older adults, and have the opportunity to ask questions.
