The Utilities Consumer Advocate (UCA) within the Ministry of Affordability and Utilities in the Government of Alberta, is offering a free presentation as part of our Power Hour Webinar series.
Seniors have unique considerations regarding utilities. Join the UCA for a free presentation, open to the public, designed to help seniors and those supporting them to confidently manage utility choices, making the process easier and more informed especially during housing transitions.
During this session we will share information and tools you can use when supporting the community members and clients you work with, including:
- Understanding utility bills
- Regulated and competitive rates and retailers
- Staying connected during and after winter
- Moving in and out
- As well as available free assistance for Albertans.
Join the Utilities Consumer Advocate (UCA) as we explore ways we can support Albertans navigating the utilities market.
Our mandate is to empower consumers and ensure fair, transparent utilities markets for Albertans.
