Immigrant Senior Sector Interagency Meeting

This will be an opportunity for service providers who work with immigrant seniors to come together and help grow a community of practice, have a space to inform and update each other, discuss the gaps that exist in regards to supports for immigrant seniors and plan action together to address these gaps.

CIWA and ISC senior serving programs have conducted small surveys to ask program participants the following questions and survey findings will be shared with the group to help lead discussion.

1.               What challenges do you experience as an immigrant senior?

2.               How do you think we can support immigrant seniors in Calgary?

3.               Do you know of any programs and services that help seniors?
