Harm to Older Persons (HOPE) Training

Dr. Storey, author of HOPE, will facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions to provide trainees with the skills and tools for assessing the risk of older adults and the perpetrators, as well as building capacity for response and intervention in cases of abuse.

This three-day, virtual training will be offered over the following days:
October 28 & 30 from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM MDT
November 1 from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM MDT

Harm to Older Persons (HOPE) provides frontline training and risk assessment tools beneficial for case managers and CCR members and will be useful for assessing the level of risk for older adults as well as helping case managers develop safety plans, whether older adults are staying in Safe Spaces or other seniors facilities.
HOPE Training is facilitated by Dr. Jennifer Storey, Senior Lecturer in Forensic Psychology at the University of Kent
