Facilitator Training Emergency Preparedness (E-Prep)

Facilitator E-Prep training focuses on the importance of practical preparedness and psychosocial health and wellness in the event of an emergency or disaster.  E-Prep is a two-hour interactive and educational workshop that uses a step-by-step approach to discuss, explore, discover, and create a personalized preparedness kit while focusing on mental health and emotional wellness for individuals and communities.

What makes it stand out?
E-Prep helps people understand the importance of emotional and practical preparedness and it provides steps to help people to make emergency plans that are unique to their lives. It’s interactive, adaptable, flexible, informative, and empowering. E-Prep can be delivered online or in person.

Target Audience:

Anyone looking to be more physically and emotionally prepared during an emergency (pandemic) or disaster.

Course Objectives - Participants will:

  • E-Prep facilitator training will offer you the knowledge to provide E-Prep workshops. It reviews the training materials, and administrative processes, and provides helpful ideas for the interactive elements of in-person and online facilitation.

Pre-requisites:

  • 1) Have completed an E-Prep course (online or in-person).
  • 2) Have experience in group facilitation.
  • 3) Able to deliver as part of your work or as a volunteer. See registration email response for more explanation on pre-requisites.
