[Event] Connections First: A Natural Supports Summit

Natural Supports are “mutually beneficial relationships that include close connections, such as family and friends, and broader connections such as neighbours, coaches, community organizations, and local businesses”(Connections First, 2020)
Join us for a one-day summit focused on the importance of natural supports and the critical role we all play in building naturally supportive communities.
This event will feature:
Inspiring plenary speakers
- Pete Bombaci, CEO and Founder of GenWell - Canada's Human Connection Movement
- Dr. Suzanne Tough, Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary
- Opening remarks from Elders Reg and Rose Crowshoe.
Interactive breakout sessions on a variety of natural supports topics including the Natural Supports Framework and strengthening natural supports networks across the lifespan.
