Aging Well in Calgary Symposium

What Can We Do To Ensure Calgary Is A Great Place To Age?
It is no secret that age-related social issues such as ageism, elder abuse, and social isolation pose significant negative health risks for seniors. Add in the realities of navigating increased inflation while living on a limited fixed income and these issues intensify. As a result, aging tends to be seen as a cost to society and is often framed as a concern for the healthcare sector.
As we emerge from the pandemic, it is time for the Calgary community to come together to address these issues and uncover new, creative solutions that can ensure Calgary is known as a great place to age.
The time is now. We invite you to be part of the conversation.
