Aging in Place – Engagement Session for Older Albertans and Caregivers/Partners

event and training image

We are reaching out to you to invite you to an engagement session on April 24th from 5:00 – 6:00pm via Zoom.

The Provincial Seniors Health and Continuing Care (PSHCC) and Innovation and Business Intelligence groups of Alberta Health Services (AHS) are taking part in envisAGE, a pan-Canadian initiative to develop technology solutions to help older Canadians maintain better quality of life for longer. AHS has done a literature search in this area and will be focusing the project on Aging in Place.

They would like to engage with older Albertans to have an interactive discussion on how technology could help support Aging in Place. They will be presenting the findings of the discussion to innovators and industry at a Problem Challenge Forum in late May or early June.

To support these findings, they are hosting the engagement session for older Albertans and caregivers / care partners on April 24th from 5:00pm – 6:00pm via Zoom. Please fan this out to anyone who you think might want to participate in this interactive discussion, including your network of older adults and caregivers/partners/networks.

Please connect with Kristin.morra@ahs.ca for more information and to RSVP (subject line RSVP and the date of the session) to be added to the Zoom invitation.
