The Town of Fox Creek evacuated for 3 weeks in May of 2023 due to a Wildfire at the edge of town. The Community Resource Center staff worked very closely with the town's aging population during and after the evacuation. While it was a successful evacuation, there were challenges such as lack of transportation, lack of efficient communication methods, and financial concerns.
