resource image

"Evidence shows that one in 10 people who enter long-term care potentially could have been cared for at home with better support. Encouragingly, many aging in place programs across Canada are successfully helping older adults stay at home safely, with better health and quality of life.

Join us for a webinar series that shares examples of community-based programs that support aging in place. Each webinar will feature two programs from across Canada that align with our Enabling Aging in Place principles and are supporting older adults to age in place with formal supports."

The webinars will take place between 12:00-1:00 p.m. ET on February 28, 2024, March 27, 2024, and April 25, 2024. The webinar happening on February 28 at 12 p.m. ET will discuss the Seniors Social Prescribing program happening at Pitt Meadows & Maple Ridge in BC.
