[Webinar Recording] Generations Over Dinner
March 19, 2024 the Intergenerational Linkages Community of Practice presented Generations Over Dinner
Have you ever experienced having dinner with multiple generations at your table?
Generations Over Dinner is actually a global initiative! It’s intended to inspire meaningful conversations across generations by modeling and creating an experience that connects and values all perspectives across the continuum.
Guest Speaker: Jacquie Eales
At this event, we heard from Jacquie Eales, who hosts one every Sunday. Her mom and her bonus daughter shared. Jacquie recently retired from the U of A where she was the research manager for Research on Aging, Policies and Practice. She and her husband bring together four generations for dinner every Sunday! From ages 6 to 87, they are building bridges across generations. Jacquie, her bonus daughter and her mom told us about their experiences with Generations Over Dinner.
We learned more about the program and how to organize dinners (or lunches) in our homes, our workplaces and our organizations.
