[Resource] Social Isolation and Loneliness – Clinical Guidelines
Discover the very first Canadian guidelines on social isolation and loneliness!
These guidelines were developed for health care and social service professionals. The purpose of these guidelines is to empower and support clinicians in their work with older adults who may be at risk of or already experiencing the health impacts of social isolation and loneliness. These guidelines will help providers recognize, assess and treat isolation and loneliness among older adults. Our literature review indicates that these clinical guidelines are also the first of their kind to be developed internationally.
