AHS involved when someone comes into crisis and into acute care and a plan is needed for care once they return to their homes. ESP has two detectives and one constable who work with the Senior Protection Partnership Team to investigate and lay charges around elder abuse cases. Service providers that suspect actions to be criminal that have been deemed as civil by the RCMP, can contact Detective Ma for a specilaized opinion.
