[Recording] Info Session on the Safe Spaces Initiative
With Prevention of Family Violence Month in full swing, our Safe Spaces Initiative provides supportive temporary housing for older adults at risk of abuse or living in situations of abuse, ensuring they have access to essential support services, such as healthcare and safety planning. The initiative works closely with housing providers and case managers to offer a refuge for older adults in need of Safe Spaces.
We believe this could be a powerful opportunity to showcase the benefits of safe spaces across our rural, remote, and indigenous communities to address family violence. So come join the conversation to learn more about how safe spaces can support your community.
