[Recorded Event] Immigrant Senior Sector Connections – February Partner’s Meeting on Newcomers from Ukraine
In this partner’s meeting, we discussed Ukrainian seniors newcomers and refugees. It has been three years since Canada began letting in more Ukrainians.
Questions addressed:
- What has your organization been up to, and what is working?
- What has been done for the refugees in Alberta, and what consequences have you been seeing?
- What innovations have been done even though resources have been scarce?
This event was hosted as an open convo circle, community of practice style session where folks can come and share what they are seeing, what they have done, and how they have adapted.
