[Podcast] Centring the Voices of Carers for Canadians Living with Dementia

To engage and amplify the voices of caregivers, the IFA conducted semi-structured interviews with caregivers for persons living with dementia, to highlight: their lived experiences as providers of care, what health and community support means to them, the impact they bring to their communities, the resources and supports that they need, the extent to which the resources they access consider their culture, race, gender, class, age, and sexual orientation-based needs, and the importance of their inclusion in the creation of supportive resources.
Tune into the three-part series to hear the powerful testimonials of Canadian caregivers!
