[Resources] Family Violence Awareness Materials

resource image

The Ministry of Children and Family Services has launched a prevention of family violence campaign that will be shared on social media and other platforms from February 26 – March 31.

Domestic and family violence impacts everyone in all communities across Alberta – whether we are a survivor ourselves, or worry about a friend, relative, co-worker or neighbour. We all have a role to play to help keep Albertans and their families safe. Anonymous help is available 24/7, 365 days a year for those wanting to know their options and supports available. Our help line can also assist those who want to take steps to become safer.

Simply call or text 310-1818, or chat online at alberta.ca/SafetyChat. Calls available in more than 170 languages.

Please take a few moments to share this important message on social media, or put up posters in your community. All of the posters and materials can be found here: https://www.alberta.ca/family-violence-prevention-resources
