December 10, 2020: Alberta Seniors and Housing Telephone Town Hall - Information Sheet
On December 10, 2020, the Ministry of Seniors and Housing invited community-based seniors serving organizations and their allied partners to a telephone town hall with Honourable Josephine Pon, Minister of Seniors and Housing; Dr. Marcia Johnson, Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Health; and guest panelists to receive updates on government supports for seniors related to public health measures, caregiving, mental health, and community supports.
This document provides follow-up information from the telephone town hall, including:
- COVID-19 vaccinations;
- COVID-19 funding;
- clarifications on new restrictions; and,
- resources from Caregivers Alberta, Alberta Health Services Addiction and Mental Health, and Alberta 211.
