The community-based seniors’ services sector encompasses a vast network of public, private, and not-for-profit organizations. It’s made up of libraries, seniors’ clubs, Men’s Sheds, older persons’ associations, food banks, and so many others. Nearly every community in Canada has at least one CBSS organization, and they’re meeting the most pressing needs of older Canadians in the places they live. We’re calling on CBSS organizations from coast to coast to coast to join us for a history-making event, where organizations will share their knowledge, establish the needs and priorities of the sector, and create a unified vision for the future of aging in Canada. Now’s your chance to declare your place as part of the CBSS sector in the national spotlight!
