Time to Defuse the Bomb That Will Explode When Boomers Turn 85
A number of concerns will take place by 2050 as MacDonald projects that long-term care will cost more than 25% of all income tax revenues. This could be further compounded if 20% of seniors may face a severe disability at age 85 and with smaller families that are able to provide care. Fixing the intensifying long-term care system requires policy-makers to create significant changes.
