Statement Recognizing Alberta Public Service Week

Premier Jason Kenney issued this statement recognizing Alberta Public Service Week:

“Behind every public program and service, every government policy and new initiative, are the hard-working people of Alberta’s public service.

“Many Alberta public servants demonstrated great resilience and commitment to the continued delivery of key services throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, especially those working in the health-care system.  

“Alberta Public Service Week spotlights some of the tremendously talented and capable people who demonstrate a spirit of innovation and enterprise in public policy. It is a time to recognize them for their commitment to making Alberta a better place for everyone.

“I’m grateful to the APS and I thank all the people whose daily work makes such a difference in Albertans’ lives.”
