Senior Living: Keeping fit and doing your bit

Swimming, cycling, walking, recycling pay dividends for yourself and others.

After having been spoiled in the six weeks to mid-November by cloudless blue skies, above-average daytime highs and only a couple of days with a teensy-weensy bit of snow, winter has finally come to Alberta.

But I don’t care, for it is now only a month until Christmas and after that only one other, typically rotten month until February 1, when one can feel the hours of daylight lengthening and the sun strengthening, and I can start thinking about gardening.
