[News] City of Grande Prairie launches Aging Well Together Initiative

The City of Grande Prairie is launching a new initiative aimed at engaging and serving seniors and older adults.

The Aging Well Together Initiative is being called a key component of City Council’s strategic priority to foster an inclusive and caring community by city hall.

The initiative recognizes Grande Prairie as a youthful city with a senior population expected to grow by 92.3 per cent by 2043.

The initiative kicks off with a series of open houses in late January to provide an opportunity for older adults, seniors, service providers and more the engage in meaningful discussions.
