Facing culture shock at 75-plus: New multicultural coach aims to help families with immigrating grandparents
With thousands of recent immigrant families using the super visa and permanent residency programs to sponsor grandparents, support is available to help those in the later stages of life find their footing in a foreign culture.
Caregivers Alberta, a provincial non-profit organization, recently hired a multicultural caregiver coach to assist immigrant families with systems navigation and personalized coaching to address the barriers that ethnic communities may face.
