The ParticipACTION Community Challenge presented by Novo Nordisk is a national physical activity and sport participation initiative encouraging everyone in Canada to make room to move and get active throughout June.

Is your community the most active in the country?

Compete in the 2026 Community Challenge for a chance to secure funding for local sport and physical activity initiatives.

• Grand Prize: $100,000 awarded to Canada’s Most Active Community.
• Regional Prizes: $5,000 to $10,000 awarded to the most active community in each of the remaining 12 provinces and territories.

Did you know? In June 2025, more than 670 communities across the country got active to help their communities compete for the title of Canada’s Most Active. Now it’s time to rally yours for the 2026 Challenge!

There is no world record to break, but local history will be made.
