Alberta’s government officially recognized the City of Lethbridge and Age-Friendly Lethbridge for demonstrating their commitment to becoming age-friendly and developing an age-friendly plan.

Age-Friendly Lethbridge is a collaboration of community stakeholders working together to provide input and shape their community. The community profile and action plan are based on the eight age-friendly domains: outdoor spaces and buildings, transportation, housing, social participation, respect and social inclusion, civic participation and employment, communication and information, and community support and health services.
