The Unforgotten - a film and toolkit to raise awareness about the impact of colonialism, racism, and trauma experienced by Indigenous people

resource image

The Unforgotten is a film and resource to help explore the impacts of colonialism, systemic racism, and the ongoing trauma experienced by Indigenous people in the Canadian health care system. Created by BUILD: Films and Networked Health, with funding from the Canadian Medical Association, the film explores the health and well-being of Inuit, Metis, and First Nations people across five stages of life. Each chapter uncovers a different experience, some of which are told through first person accounts.
