Older adults needs assessment report (Edmonton, 2019)

This report provides highlights from the City of Edmonton 2018-19 older adults needs assessment. The results are compared to 2015 findings.Β  Over 700 adults aged 55 and over, living in Edmonton completed telephone surveys, along with five focus groups, and 31 in-depth-interviews. This report offers insights in a number of areas, including the supports most needed to maintain independence, social connection, community participation, etc. The questions and framework used may offer guidance to communities interested in pursuing similar research.
