Call for Poster Presentations:
Share Your Research at the
2025 Healthy Aging Alberta Summit
Healthy Aging Alberta invites researchers, students, practitioners, and organizations to showcase their work at the 2025 Healthy Aging Alberta Summit, The Tapestry of Aging: Threads of Connection and Well-being.
Our poster presentation session is an opportunity to:
- Share your research with Alberta’s community-based seniors-serving sector and system partners
- Highlight innovative solutions, community-based research, and emerging trends in healthy aging
- Connect with leaders, policymakers, and peers who are shaping the future of aging in Alberta
- Inspire cross-sector collaboration and drive real-world impact
Poster Topics: What We're Looking For
We welcome posters that align with the Summit theme and contribute to advancing knowledge, research, policy, and practice for older adults. Submissions may cover:
- Community-based research and best practices
- Innovative service delivery models
- Policy development and system transformation
- Cross-sector collaborations and real-world applications
Eligibility & How to Submit
- Who can apply? Researchers, practitioners, students, and organizations working with older adults
- Deadline: May 30, 2025
- Submission process: Submit your abstract using the application form linked below. We are not looking for final posters to be submitted at this time, just your expression of interest.
- Acceptance Notification: July 2025
If your abstract is accepted, you will be required to print and put up your poster at the Summit venue (Delta Edmonton South) on October 6, 2025. You are encouraged to register for the conference as there will be opportunities to present your poster during select breakout sessions.
Further details about poster requirements will be provided to successful applicants.
