Invitation to Participate - Development of an Older Adults Human Rights Data Repository

Seniors-serving organizations, professionals, older adults and older adults/their caregivers are invited to participate in an ongoing older adults human rights repository project.
This project is a Public Health Agency of Canada Intersectoral Action Fund project initiative being led by the Centre for Innovation and Research in Aging (CIRA), in collaboration with the Centre on Aging and Health at the University of Regina and the NB Seniors Advocate. We are proposing to develop an interactive web-based tool offering up-to-date, de-identified, and customizable data on Older Adults’ Human Rights. The online portal would also support knowledge translation and monitoring of the rights of older adults. It is our hope that the web-based repository will support the Government of New Brunswick, followed by other Canadian governments, to uphold the human rights of older persons in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and practices. This study has been approved by the University of Regina’s Research Ethics Board (Project #841).
We greatly value the expertise and insights of organizations like yours, and your involvement would make a significant contribution to this important initiative.
We invite you to participate by completing the survey using the link or QR code below:

If you directly serve older adults in your area, please feel free to share with them this link to fill the survey on their own behalf if they opt into the study:

Even if you do not meet the criteria, we encourage you to share this invitation with someone who might be eligible.
