Health care and cost of living dominate top issues for Albertans

Survey Methodology:

The Angus Reid Institute conducted an online survey from Nov. 24 – Dec. 1, 2023 among a representative randomized sample of 392 Canadian adults who are members of Angus Reid Forum. New data from the non-profit Angus Reid Institute sees Albertans offering mixed reviews of another attempt to fix health care in the province by restructuring administration of the portfolio. Two-in-five (38%) believe this latest effort is a good idea, while slightly more (43%) disagree. Meanwhile, half (53%) believe health care is one of the province’s top concerns, trailing only the rising cost of living (68%). .

For comparison purposes only, a probability sample of this size would carry a margin of error of +/- 5 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. Discrepancies in or between totals are due to rounding. The survey was self-commissioned and paid for by ARI.
