Grants for Calgary Charities (deadline March 31, 2025)

Application Guidelines
We are committed to a transparent and fair grant application process. To ensure that your application is considered, please follow these guidelines:
Eligibility
- We can fund only those organizations with Canada Revenue Agency charitable registration.
- Our geographic focus is Calgary and area.
- We support agencies providing services to people living in the Calgary region, and may consider supporting Calgary-based charities providing services elsewhere.
Funding Limitations
- Our goal is to make grants that will have the greatest possible impact given our relatively small pool of funds.
- A contribution from us must be critical to your success, and the impact of our grant must be measurable.
- We do not provide funding for conferences or research.
Budget Needs
- We normally give preference to organizations with operating budgets below $2 million per year.
- We typically make grants in the range of $5,000 to $20,000.
- We generally do not make grants to the same organization more than once per calendar year and typically do not grant operating dollars in consecutive years.
Funding Categories
- Funding requests must fall under one of our priority areas.
Areas of Interest
Our foundation focuses on several priority areas that reflect our commitment to fostering a more inclusive and supportive community.
