Community Grants (deadline March 1 and September 16, 2024)
Big or small, your organization’s needs are important — and our Community Grants program can help.
ECF’s Community Grants program provides funding to help with a variety of organizational needs. Our support is specific to your organizational needs. We look to organizations to determine their priority areas; this can include renovations, equipment purchases, program support, and more. For more information, download our 2023 Community Grant Overview.
Eligibility
Community Grants aim to support our local community. To be eligible for a community grant your organization must be both:
- A registered charity with Canada Revenue Agency or other qualified donee.
- Serve the Greater Edmonton Area (includes the four surrounding counties).
Applying for a Community Grant
ECF uses a two-stage application process for all Community Grant applications. Applicants are asked to submit a Stage 1 application during the month it is open. Staff will review all submitted applications after the deadline. If successful in stage 1, we will request a stage 2 application, which will include additional, clarifying questions and will be reviewed by volunteer sub committees.
