Alberta Historic Resource Conservation Grants
The Heritage Preservation Partnership Program provides matching grants and scholarship funds to support initiatives that preserve and interpret Alberta’s heritage. Historic Resource Conservation Grants provide matching grants to individuals and organizations for the following:
- conservation work on Alberta’s Provincial Historic Resources, Municipal Historic Resources and Indigenous Historic Places
- studies and professional services associated with the conservation of Alberta’s Provincial Historic Resources, Municipal Historic Resources and Indigenous Historic Places. Other undesignated historic resources may also be eligible. Please contact the Heritage Conservation Adviser for your region or the Program Coordinator.

Apply for a grant to support delivery of interpretive and public engagement projects that preserve, interpret and promote Alberta’s history.

Apply for a grant to support the production of print or digital publications that preserve, interpret and promote Alberta’s history.

Alberta Heritage Research Grants
Apply for a grant to support research projects that preserve, interpret and promote appreciation of Alberta’s history. The following are eligible projects: research on Alberta heritage topics, oral history projects, historic building surveys and inventories and heritage management plans
