Volunteer Driver Program

Helping Hands Cochrane & Area's Volunteer Driver Program (VDP) was created in 2016 which was designed to assist citizens who are low income, seniors, ill or injured,  access to affordable local and inter-municipal transportation (between communities) for their medical appointments and essential outings. Helping Hands drivers provided almost 300 rides in 2020, even with many medical appointments been postponed and cancelled. This is a very busy program and we can always use additional drivers.
