CORE Community Guidelines
Thank you for your interest in joining Healthy Aging CORE. Healthy Aging CORE is a coordinated knowledge hub designed to strengthen the community-based seniors’ services (CBSS) sector and increase organizational capacity through information sharing, training, mentoring, communities of practice, and policy and resource development.
Please keep in mind the following guidelines for the CORE community:
- The CORE platform is targeted towards the CBSS sector, including CBSS staff and volunteers, allied system partners, students and researchers, and others who work with or have an interest in the CBSS sector. If you are an individual seeking to access services, we suggest you consult the 211 helpline.
- CORE is meant to be a welcoming and supportive online environment, and we ask that you be respectful towards others during any interactions on the platform.
- We vet (to the best of our ability) the information posted to CORE and ask that any information you post is relevant to healthy aging, evidence-informed, current, from reputable sources, accessible to the general public (i.e., no paywall), community-centered, and non-commercial.
- As some academic, community or non-profit conferences and trainings may have a cost associated with them, in the interest of transparency we ask that you include information about any costs when posting a training or event on CORE.
- We do not allow the promotion of commercial interests on CORE platforms, including outreach by for-profit businesses, advertisements, market research, etc.
