Stakeholder Engagement Advisors from the Ministry of Seniors and Housing are hosting virtual training sessions to introduce and orient Seniors Service Providers to the new digital Seniors Service Provider Resource Guide.

The digital guide contains information about Seniors Financial Assistance programs offered by the province including: Alberta Seniors Benefits, Supplementary Accommodation Benefit, Special Needs Assistance for Seniors, Seniors Home Adaptation and Repair Program, etc. During this session attendees will be introduced to the Healthy Aging CORE Alberta website, learn how to use the resource guide in their work assisting seniors and older adults and have the opportunity to ask questions.

You may wish to download the Guide prior to the session by joining the public group "Government of Alberta - Seniors Programs Resource Guide" on CORE Alberta and downloading the guide from the Resource Section of the group. Once you open the Guide in Word, be sure to click "enable editing" to use all the features.

These sessions are offered monthly. Join the Government of Alberta - Seniors Programs Resource Guide group to get updates about future sessions.
