Calgary Association of Lifelong Learners (CALL)/ Mount Royal University

Join us for an Intergenerational Speaker Series where learning and connection will occur across generations.

The Calgary Association of Lifelong Learners (CALL) and Mount Royal University have partnered together to bring you a series that will bring aging adults from the community and Mount Royal Universitt Students together to discuss a variety of topics.

Event 1:  "Reconciliation: What does it mean for you?"

Intent: Raise awareness on colonization, increase efforts for decolonization, facilitate learning, and honour the Indigenous peoples of Canada through active reconciliation. We hope to create a space that allows participants to connect and collaborate to build community and discuss individual actions that one can take to participate in reconciliation.

Keynote Speakers: Tim Fox from the Calgary Foundation, and former Calgary mayor, Naheed Nenshi will be our keynote speakers for the event.

Cost: FREE. A light lunch will be provided.
