Food & Nutritional Support

In addition to providing nutritional benefits, nutritional support programs provide opportunities for social interaction and connection, including all the health benefits that come from reducing social isolation. These may include: meal services in senior and community centres; nutrition education; access to fresh fruits and vegetables; meal delivery services; community meals; community kitchens; and community gardens.
