Update the 211 Database
211 maintains an Alberta-wide database of community services. An up-to-date database ensures Albertans have accurate information on resources in their communities, especially during times of need. Many helplines across Alberta rely on the information in the shared 211/InformAlberta database to provide information those who reach out to them, including 211, 811 and crisis lines.
The COVID-19 situation is changing rapidly. 211 needs your help to keep Albertans informed about local programs and resources. For example, if your organization’s hours change, you will be closing temporarily, your services will be offered differently than usual, or if anything else will change service access, it’s important that the 211 database is updated.
Keep your organization’s information up to date with 211 by reviewing your organization’s service information at www.informalberta.ca. Notify 211 Alberta of any changes to your organization’s services as soon as possible using this Contact Us page. If you’re not already listed, contact 211 about creating a listing. It’s free.
