The CORE Falls Prevention Group hosted the first session of their Target Seniors Falls Prevention Series on May 11, 2022 with two fantastic guest speakers. We first had a presentation that covered how the fear of falling is restricting seniors and how communities are able to support the safety of seniors and help reduce this fear. We then had a second presentation where participants learned about malnutrition and how it relates to falls, and gained information on a nutrition risk screening program.
